SOAK IT UP
Relax in the tub while reaping the benefits of a bathing beauty.

Don’t have hours to indulge in lavish beauty treatments? Let your shower or bath time do double duty and treat yourself while you cleanse. Here are a few tricks for making the most out of your bathing routine.
WEAR A MASK
For a mini-facial while you soak, start by cleansing skin. Then spread the mask on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Oily or problem types should select a deep-cleansing formula, while dry complexions will benefit from an ultra-hydrating boost. You can also target specific skin issues by picking anti-aging, acne-fighting, brightening or antioxidant formulas.
SMOOTHEN YOUR SKIN
Who has time to exfoliate? You do, if you’ve got an extra minute or two in the shower. Smooth a luscious-smelling scrub over your body with a loofah or shower gloves, paying special attention to rougher areas like elbows, knees and heels. Don’t rub too hard or you can irritate your skin. Another caveat: Don’t exfoliate the same day you shave your legs. Shaving offers its own brand of exfoliation and doubling up may prove too harsh.
MOISTURIZING TUB TREAT
If dry weather has gotten the best of your skin, treat yourself to a luxurious bath infused with nourishing oils. Pour a little product in while you’re running the water, then step in and allow the oils to absorb. If a tub soak isn’t your style, use a hydrating cleanser or body moisturizer formulated for the shower. For extra moisturizing benefits, apply a body cream or lotion afterward.
