The Jason Bourne Collection
(Universal)
Rated: R

Few thrillers have made as explosive an impact in the last decade as the Bourne series starring Matt Damon as a deadly, but memory lapsed, CIA operative. This four-disc set brings the super-stylish action films—The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum—together with tons of extras. With some of the most compelling storytelling and dizzying fight scenes ever on film, it’s sure to please fans of Robert Ludlum’s titular secret agent and rookie spy-hunters alike. Extras: Deleted scenes, alternate endings, making of, behind the scenes, cast and crew interviews

Stardust
(Paramount Home Entertainment)
Rated: PG-13

Claire Danes is a heavenly body come to life in this fantastical yarn, based on a novel by Neil Gaiman. Her character pits malevolent witches (Michelle Pfeiffer), lovesick heroes (Charlie Cox) and conniving princes against each other for her heart—with Robert De Niro as a flamboyant pirate adding to the whimsy. Like The Princess Bride for a new generation, Stardust is a fairytale adventure that brilliantly captures all that is grand about the imaginative stories of our youth with a more mature spin. Extras: Making of, editor commentary, casting and location shooting

It prompted millions to think green, if even for a moment. Spirited performances by those acts and dozens more as diverse as Genesis, Metallica and Black Eyed Peas are featured on this CD from the live event, which also includes a special behind-the-scenes “making of” DVD that explains how the monumental collaboration came together.
