Welcome to AirTran Airways. I hope you’re having a wonderful flight. As usual, there’s lots of big news to share this month including new nonstop routes, new programs, some great events and more.

First, we took inflight entertainment to new heights last month, as the cast from the Broadway hit The Color Purple surprised Chicago travelers with the first ever inflight Broadway performance. The historic inflight debut was a fun way to celebrate AirTran Airways’ new nonstop service from Chicago Midway International to New York/Newark Liberty International.

Other recent additions include service between Chicago Midway and Charlotte as well as service between Chicago Midway and Dallas/Ft. Worth starting May 9. In fact, by midMay 2006, we’ll be operating 32 daily departures from Chicago Midway to eight nonstop destinations. We’re also beginning nonstop service between Rochester and Boston on July 6.

In other news, we’re now a part of the American Express Membership Rewards® program. So, you can redeem your American Express Membership Rewards points for A+ Rewards credits. For most card members, 1,500 points equals one A+ Rewards credit.

AirTran Airways has a tradition of supporting great charities. I am proud to announce that we will once again host the AirTran Airways Grand Bahama Golf Classic, a charity golf tournament being held May 5-7, 2006 at Our Lucaya Resort on Grand Bahama Island. It’s a great charity event with all proceeds benefiting Travelers Aid. This charity serves more than 9,000 homeless individuals throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area every year, so we’re excited to help them make a difference.

I know you baseball fans are excited about the new season, and we’ve got good news for you. Just because you’re flying, doesn’t mean you have to miss a game. Every one of our planes is equipped with XM Satellite Radio so you can hear every game, no matter where you are in the sky. Tune into channels 175-190 to find everything baseball.
